UPDATE!!!
As of March 23 I've dropped a total of 25 pounds!!
I'm still working on it, and I have a
long way to go, but it's a start!!
As anyone who's spent much time talking with me in DietTalk chat knows,
I've started doing the Carbohydrate
Addicts Lifespan Program. For me, it is the BEST program I've found. In the book
it says that you can choose your carbos meal to have as any meal you want, as long as
you start with salad, and then balance the rest of your meal 1/3 carbos, 1/3 veggies
and 1/3 proteins. For me though, when I eat it any time other than at dinner it seems
that my carbo cravings come back. Not as badly as before, or as they do on those days
when I do something stupid and go totally off program. But still, I've decided to save
my carbos meal for dinner time.
Since starting the program I've had hardly any problems with cravings, my moods have
become less changeable, and I've had TONS of energy. It's totally amazing!! I've
started to exercise more, and I'm feeling a lot stronger already. Tae Bo is my exercise of choice at the moment, however
I love walking with my Husband and our dog, (which we haven't done as much as we should
lately) and bike riding, which I used to love to do as a teenager, but now have little
endurance for, and fun too! I also tried belly dancing, which is actually more aerobic
than I would have thought. I think I may look for a belly dancing instructional video
to do some times. I find that the key to staying motivated (at least for me) with
exercising is to have a variety of different things to do.
